Miserably, several minority Americans find it hard to improve their academic potential because of their financial constraint. Luckily, the US government has started taking effort in allocating financial aid to allow young and bright minority students to accomplish their educational dreams.

However, there are even certain requirements to qualify for this kind of scholarship program which includes the applicant must be a first time university or college student, they must meet the criterias of Federal Pell and they must be permanent US citizens.
They must even have to fill-up three important forms to be eligible such as nominator form, recommender form and nominee personal information form.
How much fund is awarded?
Every year almost 1,000 scholarships are being awarded through these programs to the minority students. The scholarship amount normally varies because it is being designed to cover the study part of every student financial help thus the amount of the scholarship is designed according to the requirement of every individual minority student.
In the year 2006, more than 000 dollars were awarded for undergraduates and 15,000 dollars for graduate students per year.
