The Cure for a Caffeine Headache

If you’ve ever experienced the onset of a headache and took it out by your daily dose of caffeine you may want to watch how often you do this, it could be you are suffering from caffeine headaches. Headaches are never fun but finding out what causes them is a great way to relieve yourself from the pain that you go through. People suffer from headaches for a variety of reasons, one is loud noises, stress and some deal with them because of lack of caffeine or even too much.

If you are experiencing caffeine headaches your best solution will be to examine whether or not it is from too much caffeine. Chances are this will be the case and if it is you’ll need to limit yourself to a lower amount. The average person consumes around 3 cups of caffeine in a day. This becomes addicting to them and when a person forms an addiction it is something their body needs on a daily basis. Without it withdrawals kick in and many times this is how a headache is formed.

However there is such a thing as a caffeine withdrawal headache and this is formed when a person does not get the amount of caffeine they normally have. It’s kind of like someone that smokes or does drugs. If they don’t need it they have withdrawal symptoms and this is one of them for a caffeine drinker. Normally once the person gets that needed caffeine intake the throbbing headache will disappear. But if they don’t it’ll only make the headache worsen as time goes by.

Depending on how much caffeine you take throughout the day will depend on how fast you recognize what type of headache you have. If you are constantly drinking caffeinated products and come up with a strong headache, you may have drank too much. Another sign is if you feel nauseated or throw up. Many times throwing up is your body’s way of telling

In order to figure out what type of caffeine headache you are having constantly try logging what you eat and drink throughout the day. Is there any changes to your diet? Are you eating/drinking more caffeinated products? If you notice you are drinking too much you may want to try to see how much you can cut out, but do this slowly. You don’t want a caffeine headache from withdrawals.

If you are a person that already deals with migranes then you should already know the trigger can be anything you do or consume during the day. Migrane sufferers tend to be a bit more sensitive to caffeine so you’ll need to be especially careful of how much you drink/eat. If you notice a headache coming on after two cups of coffee chance are you don’t want to take a third cup. In a way you are lucky because you know how much you can have before suffering from a headache, whereas the person that doesn’t experience migranes has no clue until it is too late. You know the signs, now try avoiding the horrible pains of a caffeine headache.
